Triggers

Real iPhone alarms triggered by time, sunrise, your calendar, or email.

Coming soon to the App Store

An alarm, not a notification

Triggers rings the same class of alarm the iPhone's built-in Clock app uses — the kind that breaks through silent mode and Sleep Focus. The difference is what starts it: not just a clock time.

With an email alarm you set a window, like 11pm to 7am, choose what should wake you, and Triggers rings the moment a match lands.

01

Time

A clock time, with optional repeat — just like the system Clock app. Works on first launch, with no account.

02

Email

An inbound email matching a filter you choose: a full address, an @domain, a subject keyword, or any email at all. Set a watch window, arm it, and the alarm rings the moment a match lands.

While a window is armed it sits on your Lock Screen for the whole night, so you can see at a glance that you are covered. Email alarms need Triggers Pro and an account, because they create your permanent forwarding alias.

03

Solar

Sunrise, sunset, twilight or golden hour, offset by up to sixty minutes either way. Computed on your device from your location.

04

Calendar

Rings a set number of minutes before the first event on your calendar that day, read on-device through EventKit. Nothing leaves your phone.

Free, and Pro

Time, Solar and Calendar alarms are free and unlimited, with no account, and the free version carries a single banner ad. Triggers Pro is $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year, with a seven-day free trial on the annual plan. Pro unlocks Email alarms and removes the ad.
